Shelby and Jake – from down under to the opposite side of the globe.Shelby and Jake, an Australian couple, decided to embark on a European road trip, and what better way to make it even more memorable than by getting married in Greece! It was their first time in Europe, and more specifically, their first time in Crete. They reached out to us a few months before their Greek Elopement Chapel Wedding, entrusting us with their special day. We were thrilled to work with them on planning this intimate occasion, and it was truly an honor to be part of such a beautiful journey. From rustic décor to their intimate Greek island chapel wedding, transportation, beauty treatments, and dinner arrangements, Shelby and Jake trusted us every step of the way, and we delivered beyond expectations!
Shelby was an effortlessly beautiful bride, radiating simplicity and grace. She chose to be pampered in the comfort of her own home away from home, with a professional hair and makeup service that we arranged. Shelby’s hair and makeup were expertly done by skilled artists who understood her vision and created a beautiful, natural look that perfectly suited her.
A rustic wedding in September—could anything be more perfect? We embraced the vibrant colors that Autumn brings, and despite the occasional challenges of the month, the stunning scenery, the theme, and the color scheme all came together in perfect harmony.Shelby and Jake exchanged their vows at a 15th-century Greek Orthodox church, a picturesque location nestled in the rugged, rolling Cretan landscape. We arranged a gorgeous bouquet for Shelby and a matching boutonniere for Jake, and following their vows, they celebrated with a rose petal shower. Afterward, a simple yet chic tray of celebratory nibbles and sparkling wine awaited them to toast their new beginning!
As the sun set, Shelby and Jake enjoyed an intimate dinner at one of the best restaurants in the historical and picturesque Old Port of Chania. The evening was complete with exceptional service, delicious food, and the perfect end to their unforgettable day.
