Ashita and Kiran’s journey together was a journey of love, culture, and unity—a celebration that bridged the gap between two worlds, honoring both their Indian heritage and their life in England. A couple with deep Indian roots, they embraced the richness of their heritage while also honoring the beauty of their life in England. Their love story unfolded in three distinct ceremonies: a wedding in India, an Indian ceremony and an English ceremony in Crete, and finally, a civil ceremony back in London.
The day in Crete was nothing short of spectacular. It began with the early morning preparations, where the couple’s guests were pampered with beauty services at the luxurious resort they all stayed, and welcome kits were given to prepare them for the days ahead. The Indian wedding took place at a breathtaking location with a caldera view in Chania, marking the first time the venue hosted such an event. Guests arrived, awe-struck by the beauty of the setting, many dressed in traditional Indian attire, contributing to an incredibly harmonious atmosphere. Despite the summer heat, every guest was thoughtfully taken care of with umbrellas, fans, and cooling systems.
The Indian ceremony itself was a sight to behold, rich with customs and heartfelt rituals. From the ornate arch adorned with traditional elements to the presence of the priest who led the sacred rituals, everything was infused with the essence of Indian wedding culture. After the ceremony, guests were treated to snacks and refreshments as they returned to the resort, where the privately booked lunch restaurant offered a chance for everyone to relax, chat, and reflect on the magical experience.
As the day progressed, the couple switched to their European ceremony attires. This minimalist celebration, set by the sea and palms, was equally emotional. The vows shared were deeply moving, and Ashita, stunning in a fusion of modern and traditional elements in her bridal dress, was a vision of grace. The bridesmaids wore elegant sage green dresses, perfectly complementing the serene backdrop. Groomsmen showed up in tuxedos, adding to the elegance of the ceremony and accompanying the bridesmaids. The English ceremony was everything the couple dreamed of—a dreamlike moment of unity by the water.
The evening was filled with joy and celebration, with cocktails, fireworks, and a delicious dinner prepared by the resort, featuring Cretan and Mediterranean flavors. The couple’s choreographed first dance was a highlight, setting the tone for the night as everyone joined in the festivities. The dynamic team of photographers and videographers captured every moment, from the early morning Indian rituals to the enchanting evening reception.
It was a wedding like no other, one where cultures blended seamlessly, traditions were honored, and love was celebrated in its most beautiful form.
